2025 Fly Fishing in Surrey for Emergency Funds for Children in Sudan

Join us on October 11th at Park Lake, Albury, for a day of fly fishing, delicious food, and fundraising to support children in Darfur.

The Duke of Northumberland’s private lake will be stocked with trout and if you have never tasted trout straight from the water to your plate then you have no idea how delicious it is. Of course, you will have to catch it first – but we will provide people to help you! This very special, secluded lake provides the perfect day out for the family, a chance to hang with the lads by the lake, or a fun way to entertain your out of town clients, showing them the beauty of Guildford! Delicious refreshments will be provided throughout the day from homemade cakes to lunch with wine and beer. We look forward to welcoming you all – beginners and experienced fisherman alike!

This Fly Fishing Day is one of the most special Fishing opportunities you can be part of because every penny raised in profit will help Kids for Kids provide basic essentials to children in Darfur who are in desperate need. Darfur continues to face bitter conflict and the indirect effects of violence are almost worse – disease and starvation. We are providing sacks of seed for planting and Kids Kitchen Kits for families with small children which include pulses, lentils, powdered meat, ground nuts and even fresh produce.

By joining us on our fishing day out this year, you can help transform the lives of families in great need. Not to mention, enjoy a magnificent day at Park Lake, which is utterly beautiful – and ours for the day!


Your Ticket Options:

Full Day tickets (9.30am to dusk) @ £150 each (min. donation) to include breakfast, morning coffee & home made cakes, lunch with wine and beer, and finally afternoon tea (more home made cakes!). All drinks available throughout.

AM session only (9.30 am to 12:30pm, including lunch) @ £85 each (min. donation) to include breakfast, morning coffee & home made cakes and lunch with wine and beer. All drinks available throughout.

PM session only (12.30 pm lunch ’til dusk) @ £85 each (min. donation) to include lunch with wine and beer, and afternoon tea with home made cakes. All drinks available throughout.

N.B. Children (minimum age 10) need to be accompanied by a fully paying adult. Because of the limit of space on the banks children also have to be full price. The first fish you catch will be yours to keep! There will be a small charge for any additional fish you wish to take home. Sunglasses or glasses and brimmed hats or caps must be worn by everyone. Health and safety is our first concern but you are advised that you fish at your own risk.
