Description
NSU Quickly S23 for sale, 1967, 2 speed, full registration document, E reg, 1967, frame plate says manufactured in 1965
Fully restored in a bobber style, I have 98% of the original parts in very good to average condition if you want to put it back to standard.
All mods were done with a view to easily put it back to original if needed
Modifications done along with new NSU parts fitted:
• Aluminium short mudguards
• LED lights front and rear
• New wiring
• New control cables
• Rebuilt engine
• Re lined brake shoes front and rear
• Speedo cable
• Straight handlebars
• New whitewall tyres front and rear
• Number plate
• New spokes front and rear
• Mini moto expansion chamber with effective silencer
• New chain
• Frame stripped back to bare metal then resprayed with zinc primer then army green topcoat
• Wheels painted inside and outside with zinc primer then gunmetal grey topcoat
• Front suspension rebushed with oil lite bushes
• New ball bearings in steering stem
• Carb refurb kit
• Inline petrol tap and filter
• Plenty of stainless and zinc plated new nuts and bolts where appropriate
• New rear light assembly
• New points, timed with dial gauge
• Indicators fitted
• Spark plug and oil change
Original parts available:
• Air filter and carb connecting rubber
• Front and rear mudguards in NSU colours (same as tank)
• Handlebar throttle
• Handlebars
• Exhaust complete with mounting bracket
• Petrol tap
• All original nuts and bolts that were still serviceable
• Number plate and bracket front and rear light bulbs
• Rear light assembly
