KTM 1290 Super Adventure T (2017)

Description

1290 Super Adventure T - the best model in my opinion.

- 30 L tank does almost 300 miles
- Hill Hold Control
- Heated Grips
- Heated Seat
- Cruise Control

Served me well for the past couple of years! Time for a change.

Good bits:

- Full electronics pack, all working as it should
- Nice custom Red Bull branding paint/wrap in great condition.
- Crash bars
- Pannier rack to fit all sorts
- Strong, reliable engine with loads of power
- Recent fork seals, pulse coil and a few other bits
- has never not started first time
- chain has less than 2000 miles on it

Bad Bits:

- Some corrosion and rust as has been used in all weather. Photographed to give a clear picture.
- engine / warning light - confirmed to be no issue, bike rides and operates perfectly well its just a KTM quirk
--Secondary lights not working, just haven't bothered taking them off
- It has an iQSE quickshifter but it needs a new sensor, was working great until it came off!
- couple of scuffs on wind deflectors and crash bars from an attempted theft, steering lock also not working from same incident.. that was about 18 months ago and had no resulting issues
- aftermarket horn just stopped working

Tyres are 70/30 and work well on and off road, not a huge amount of life left, see photos.

I have the original pannier racks somewhere which you can have if/when I find them!

Think it's priced fairly compared to what else is out there - some finance left so would need to pay in 2 parts. Can show evidence of outstanding balance.

Would be open to a 'PX' for a cheap car if that's any good to you!

Can offer test rides with full insurance in place or happy to take you as a pillion..

All in, great bike that could benefit from a bit of TLC but ready to ride away as it is, and passed MOT in March with no issues at all.
