Description
Kokido Keops solar heater for an above ground pool.
The solar pod heater is connected between the outlet of the pump / filter and the return back into the pool.
I had this connected to a 12ft pool for a few years which realistically is a bit too big for the heater, I would suggest it would have more of an affect on a smaller pool. That said any additional heat for free is worth while. On sunny days I simply left the pump on for free heat to take a bit of the chill from the water.
As it has been used outside for a number of years, the clear dome is not quite as crystal clear as when it was new.
Although the heater comes with pipes, I ended buying some longer ones to position it in the best place for the sun relative to where I had the pump. The package includes the dome, two short pipes and an adapter for an Intex pool.
