Description
This is a quality, branded product which protects your piano against damaging low humidity levels by adding humidity to the environment within a piano.
Hydroceel is a tubular device, 99cm long x 4cm in diameter, filled with an extremely efficient absorbent material. It is “refilled” or “charged” by immersing in water (bath is best) for 10 minutes. Refill every 1-4 weeks depending on ambient temperature/ relative humidity in the room.
Once the surface has been wiped dry, the tube should be hung inside the top door of an upright piano on two hooks. In a grand piano it may be simply laid across the iron frame.
