SHADOW SH22 GUITAR TO MIDI CONVERTER PEDAL, MATCHING SHADOW SH27 DIGITAL SYNTHESIZER PEDAL, SHADOW 1550MU GUITAR TO MIDI PICKUP This system is probably one of the rarest in the world of guitar synthesizers. This system is a stand-alone synth, not just a MIDI coverter! All sounds are on board (it's MIDI capable as well). The pedals provide patch and bank selection for sounds, on/off for the synth, vibrato effect, and a hold function. The SH27 pedal is a digital synth similar to a 90s keyboard in sound terms), or can be used to drive any MIDI sound source (a MIDI sound module, keyboard, other MIDI synths etc). There are 300 sounds arranged into 3 sets (A, B,C) ... each has 10 banks with 10 patches in each. The hold function allows soloing over a held synth note or chord, while the pickup includes a volume control for the synth. ) A very good synth in itself and you can attach a MIDI sound module if you wish.
extremely rare and collectable. It has the charm/simplicity of the early Roland systems, with more sounds, as it is digital. It's not a modern synth like the GR-55 or whatever, but that is part of the charm.
