Wood Fired Burning Log Burner Hot Tub Spa Swimming Pool Stove External Heater

Our hot tub water heater has been engineered for maximum efficiency, utilizing a sophisticated heat exchange design. The stainless steel body surrounding the firebox is a double-wall water-jacket, making the entire firebox a heat-to-water transferring surface. The stove is made from 2mm thick AISI304 Stainless Steel which has excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand exposure to chlorine and saltwater.

This wood burner is a precision-built, high-efficiency water heating stove designed specifically for hot tubs and swimming pools. It eliminates the need for a circulating pump and electricity, making it possible to heat the water in a hot tub with the heater placed externally. A big advantage is that there will be more space in the tub, which in turn means a smaller model can be selected.

It circulates water using the principle of “thermosiphon”. Thermosiphon (or thermosyphon) is a method of passive heat exchange, based on natural convection, which circulates the water without the necessity of a mechanical pump. Hot water rises and creates low pressure, which draws the water from below.

However for use with swimming pool rather than a hot tub a low-speed electric pump is always suggested or even required to assure a smooth flow of water.
Hot water central heating circulating pump or swimming pool filter pump with a flow rate of 1500 - 2500 L/h would be ideal and recommended.
Please note that if the pump is installed it must be switched off and disconnected from the mains electricity before entering the pool / hot tub.

The chimney is 215 cm high and comes in two parts, the bottom pipe with the heat shield and the top pipe with flue cowl / cap.

Heating time for hot tub with 200cm diameter / 1500 litres water capacity - 2h approx.

The stove is ready to use and comes complete with:

- stove doors, removable fire grate and removable ash pan / tray
- chimney with heat shield and top cowl / cap
- 1 x connection hose (the hose comes in one 220cm piece and needs to be cut in to two required lengths - inlet and outlet)
- 4 x connection clamps
- 2 x hot tub threaded fittings / connectors with sealing ring and lock nut.
