Vintage Large Carved Wooden Set of 3 Wise Monkey Figures A/F
A/F = As Found.
Depicting the saying; See no evil, Hear no evil & Speak no evil
Mizaru who sees no evil covering his eyes who measures approx 10 1/4ins tall x 10 1/4ins x wide x 7 1/4ins deep.
It has had split repairs done (see pics).
Kikazaru who hears no evil covering his ears who measures approx 10ins tall x 10ins wide x 7ins deep.
It has had split repairs done (see pics).
Iwazaru who speaks no evil covering his mouth who measures approx 10 1/2ins tall x 10 1/2ins wide x 7 1/2ins deep.
It has had no repairs done.
All repairs look old.
They are made from solid pieces of wood.
They are quite heavy.
Splits are to be expected after all it is a natural material hence why they are repaired.
Treated with oil to keep them in good condition
