Description
A wonderful quality, vintage, coopered oak stick stand, with brass banding and charming carved horse head.
This attractive example has studded brass bands giving it a very smart appearance.
The oak slats are tight, well shaped and fitted, forming a brilliant cone shape, levelled to form the base.
It is quite tall and makes an excellent umbrella or stick stand. It is also and attractive piece of fireside furniture to hold logs or sticks.
The horse head carving is quite naive, but adds to its individual attractiveness.
The stick stand is in excellent condition. I think it would have been coopered in the 1930s.
Please note the walking sticks and umbrellas are not included.
