Description
This large display board was made to hang medals.
The ex-picture frame back was painted black - it is fixed by the original fold-in metal clasps. The pine frame itself was left natural but would look great painted.
The pegs are quite large to take the weight of a decent medal and several ribbons can hang from one peg. Pegs are double the thickness of a usual peg, so 7cm x 2cm. There are a dozen, spaced so that medals don’t hang into each other!
The size of the whole framed board is 117cm x 88cm.
There has been a little movement of the frame in the warmth (top right corner join) but that doesn’t affect the stability of the frame at all.
Any number of things other than medals could be displayed….. there’s always something!
