Description
ONE FOR THE WHISKEY COLLECTORS.... 🥃🥃
This is a discontinued limited edition 2015 release. 😁 No longer available on thewhiskeyexchange. There are a couple available around the £600 mark. Last one I saw sell at auction was in 2018!.
Unfortunately mines is sealed but does not come with it's box. The box was destroyed by someone who couldn't fit it on the shelf, so threw away the box and kept the bottle on display... 😅🙈
Due to there being no box, I'm looking for offers over £450. 🤝
Have a wee look at some more details below. 👇
A marriage of 88 casks, each matured for at least 21 years, Royal Salute Eternal Reserve is a creamy-smooth whisky with an incredibly long, complex finish. Each cask used in this blend was hand-selected for its long finish and complex character, and has been married for at least six months before bottling. Each bottle is presented in a hand-made porcelain flagon and has been hand-labelled.
Chivas Regal, is a blended Scotch whisky produced by Pernod Ricard in Scotland. The company was founded in 1786, with its home being in the Strathisla distillery at Keith, Moray in Speyside, Scotland, and is the oldest continuously operating Highland distillery.
Appearance: Clear, mid-deep golden amber.Aroma: Honey, soft leather, Demerara sugar, toasty oak, vanilla crème anglaise. Lavender emerges with water.
Taste: Full-bodied and honeyed with orange zest, bitter toasty oak tannins and coal dust. Faint notes of black liquorice and lavender – practically with water.
Aftertaste: Long toasty finish with herbal notes, coal dust, pear and faint liquorice.
Overall: Starts rich and honeyed but ends dry and toasty with notes of coal dust and along the journey delivers zesty orange, liquorice and lavender but needs a splash of water to properly reveal itself.
