Priced for a quick sale this beautiful mint green Diakon phone - often mistakenly thought of as bakelite, this phone originates from the Republic of Egypt does have a minor chip to the front bottom right and a hairline crack typical of its age to the right side. The dial works well and the phone circuit has been tested for incoming and outgoing calls, it could certainly be improved but nothing a restorer couldn't competently repair to restore to its original glory - we all know an angel somewhere 😉
The photos do not really do it justice, this phone looks very good for its age and the colour evenness is excellent although the handset and line cords have faded. Obviously it would need to have a modern phone lead to be put use and as such this phone is sold as an item of interest only.
