Description
Selling my original Japanese launch PlayStation 3 (CECHA00). This is the rare version that plays PS1, PS2 and PS3 games thanks to full hardware backwards compatibility.
✅ Fully functional system overall
✅ Upgraded 1TB hard drive – loads of space for games and saves
✅ Custom firmware already installed
✅ Comes with:
• Third-party controller (as shown in pictures)
• Power lead and HDMI lead
• A few Call of Duty games (if I can find them before sale)
🔹 Condition: The console casing has scratches (common with these glossy models), which does not affect performance. Please note: the disc drive rarely reads discs, so it is best used with digital installs/homebrew.
Firmware 4.92 with custom firmware installed – ready for homebrew and additional features.
Ideal for collectors, retro gamers, or anyone looking for the rare backwards compatible PS3. Selling as no longer being used.
