Under the bonnet sits a turbocharged 2.0-litre inline-four, delivering 306bhp and 280lb-ft of torque to the front wheels through an engaging six-speed manual transmission with an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. Just 400 examples of the Golf GTI Clubsport S were produced, of which only 150 were delivered to the UK.
