Description
This is I believe a Yale PBS1 nightlatch deadlock (I can’t recall as I bought it years ago). It was never fitted to the door because I am inept at DIY, and we’ve since changed the door.
So to the lock… it’s a big, hefty nightlatch with a deadlock. All of the pieces may not be present, but I think/hope they are except for the door pull, however you’ll have to be adept at fitting these as there are no instructions. Another quirk (and the reason for a cheap price - these are around £70), it has two different sets of keys: one for the external barrel and one for the nightlatch deadlock (internal). The original (external) lock was replaced with a new one (identical model), but therefore it has a different key to the internal. Again, you probably need to know what you’re doing with it.
That said, both sets of keys do function of course. Each lock locks correctly and you are welcome to test it out for yourself - in fact I insist, as I say I am inept at this stuff.
