A 'whatnot', originally a piece of antique furniture, is an open-display stand with several shelves, used to display decorative items and personal belongings. The name whatnot reflects the furniture's versatility, as it could hold anything or all sorts of things.
This whatnot is a reproduction piece, of mahogany wood, is triangular in form and can stand flat against a wall, or snugly into a corner.
