DESCRIPTION:
* Lovely old 1940's oak bureau bookcase writing desk in good vintage condition. A real character piece that can be transported in 2 separate parts.
* The base sits on a pretty frame with traditional bulb legs. It has 3 drawers, the smallest has a beautiful carved flower design. It has a pull down desk with supports, a smaller stationary drawer & pigeon holes at the back of the newly added botanical writing pad.
* The top bookcase display cabinet has glass doors with a diamond shaped inlay. A working lock & key, adjustable/removable shelves & a back panel we have covered in a pretty botanical leaf wall paper.
* It's freshly refurbished, painted with black chalk paint, finished with a black matt wax. We have tried to leave a little original character.
* Perfect for a space saving home office, drinks cabinet or craft station.
* It's freshly updated but will of course show signs of it's previous lives from 1940 to now.
CONDITION: Good freshly restored condition. In good vintage working order, all glass intact, working lock & key, solid drawers, working desk supports. good condition. Expected minor age related signs. It is from 1940's afterall. Freshly painted & waxed.
