Pair of handmade solid wood bunny rabbit doorstop wedges
Morpeth, Northumberland
£10
Description
***Collection from Felton, Northumberland***
I have a pair of bunny rabbit doorstop wedges, here, the cute factor is huge, very endearing and a really recognisable shape.
They are solid pine so any little knocks you may encounter over the years can be easily sanded out, alternatively, this would give them even more character. This pair have been previously waxed, but they could do with a going over to make them even more perfect, if that were even possible 🐰🐰.
When we purchased these, one of them had some pencil markings on it where the owner had tried to draw features (hence why you can see the faint markings of an eye, ear and nose). We removed the markings with a rubber, but going forward that particular bunny could benefit from a light sand to take the edge off the said markings. Not a massive job, but one we have never got round to, unfortunately, we put them away and forgot about them until we moved.
These bunnies could be simply sanded and re-waxed, alternatively, painted in a colour of your choice. If you are a fan of the 'rustic-feel', like me, then a re-waxing would be ideal.
PLEASE NOTE: there is a little 'curling' of the pine wood wedge on one bunny (the part of the door stop that goes directly under the door) see photos, however, this does not affect its use, whatsoever.
