Description
Mid-Century Teak and ‘Flamed’ Mahogany Sideboard by renowned, high-end makerGreaves & Thomas, 1960s
Absolutely stunning, long vintage sideboard with brass knobs and silver ‘campaign’ handles sat on top of rounded tapered legs.
The two cupboards either end have a wooden shelf and open out doors.
Central cupboard has a hinge down door, designed to be used as a drinks cabinet.
Three draws with pull handles, that have silvered with age. Top drawer is a cutlery draw with wooden dividers, lined with red felt in very good condition.
I have given this a mild restoration as it is it excellent, original condition. Only minimal marks are evident of its 60 years service
A beautiful example of mid century design.
Length/Width: 220cms
Depth: 45cms
Height: 76cms
Viewings welcome by appointment (GL7, Gloucestershire).
Happy to supply more photos and video.
CONDITION – As a vintage item, this has had a previous life and as such will carry marks and imperfections that tell their individual stories. Whilst I have refreshed the piece, there will still be the odd mark from usage which aren’t distracting and only add to its character. Please look carefully at the photos and do request more and ask for further information if needed.
