A FREESTANDING VINTAGE TALL CANDLE HOLDER, IN BEECH.
Height 37 inches (94cm)

This unusual fine vintage “turned” stand would look good inside a chapel, or enhance your home with a church candle on top. It equally would suit a shop, bar or hotel, too. It could be used as a plant or display stand. It's from beech, which is similar to oak in grain and weight.
There are very slight marks, consistent with age and use, but nothing serious; there have been no repairs. The last photo is the underside of the base, which will not be seen normally.
The stand is very sturdy when up. When screwed back together it weighs 5.8kg, so quite heavy.
This can be collected or delivered in a box broken down into the constituent parts, as in photo 9. The parts can be carefully individually wrapped so they don’t get damaged in transit. The postal cost is £6.50, it weighs nearly 7 kg packed.
