A Chinese Antique Bronze Guan Yu Singing Bowl, Ming or Qing Dynasty C1500 - 1900, very heavy. The singing Bowl originated in China thousands of years ago and were a spiritual object used in meditation and relaxation. The pleasant sounds are scientifically proven to be beneficial to blood pressure and heart rate. They are also used in healing illnesses. The Bowl has a thick rim and around the Bowl are four cartouches depicting Guan Yu, the God ofWar. It is about 25 cm width x 13 cm depth. Not sure whether it is bronze or copper. I am sorry but I can't download any photos as my camera isn't very good and I am waiting to buy a new one. There was one advertised on eBay for £177 reduced to £99 due to damage. If interested you are welcome to come and have a look at it. Will need to collect as we don't have any transport.
