Elegant Carved Decoration
( This 19th century regency chaise Longue
is indeed a sofa of most unusual design. Typical in size
for the period it is constructed from high quality timber. It does however have a very distinctive and
detailed carved , along with
some rather unusual legs, which makes us wonder where
the design originated. It is certainly an incredibly elegant,
practical sofa however and has been recently reupholstered
meaning the fabric and upholstery are in excellent condition.
Perfect for the end of the bed, anywhere else in a bedroom,
a large entrance hallway, or just about any other room of the
house this could be a practical and functional focal point
around the home)
