VW T-25, LHD 5-speed, 1900cc AAZ diesel w. added POWER! needs body work, mechanically superb.

Hard to get it all in here- the list is long. Has a 1.9 litre AAZ transplant, 5-speed. Is LEFT HAND DRIVE. Too many new or recent parts to list all but, new radiator, rebuilt injector pump w. governor mods, new head a few years back- much more power, hybidized turbo for more power, Rover boost pin, intercooler, 2.5'' stainless steel LongLife exhaust. New cam belt, water pump, alternator plus a bunch of little stuff.

New trailing arms, many new Powerflex bushes in front suspension, all gear shift bushes replaced- is tight. New brakes w. Venom drilled and grooved discs on front w. low dust pads. Rear all replaced recently, backing plates included. B4 Bilstein shocks.

Body needs work. I have tried hard over the years to keep the rust off but it needs TLC again now. Have always wax-oiled it but needs it again. N/S side window needs to come out to repair holes under the tape you see in the pic. Possibly the other windows just need a few spots dealt with, not come out? Rear valence above exhaust holed. Bottom of sliding door needs work. Maybe both front steps need work, the sill at the bottom. The red you can see on the front is just primer- the blue flaked off, poorly prepared, I guess.

Nice interior. White table pops up. There's a 12/230v fridge- the decals on it, by the sliding door. 3 seatbelts on rock and roll, full width bed- is excellent! Really big bed. The side belts are shoulder belts. Another shoulder belt on the jump-seat. It has storage underneath as does the bed. Whopping great stereo, 4 speakers, CD stacker w. 10 cd cassettes. Even has a cassette tape player! Old-style stuff. Sheepskin on front seats. Tach, exhaust gas temp. gauge, boost gauge, oil temp gauge. New Slaughterhouse dash lights- bright leds, very nice. Don't know real mileage, the odometer is in kilometers but there must be at least 300K kilometers, I figure.

Mercedes 16'' alloys, decent but not perfect condition. Widest tyres possible and TALL! This helps keep the rpms down. Has bags of power! Really good for a 1.9 litre engine. Drives really nicely, secure on road. Michelin Cross-Climate tires with good tread. Stickiest tires I've ever had in the wet.

This is a really nice bus but for the rust. Will probably take some £5-6 grand to have it done professionally. If you can do this work yourself, great.

Offers OVER £5000. Otherwise, I keep it, do the work. Is in Scotland, Fife, Kinghorn, call Terry. Is registered as a motorhome so cheaper insurance. Tax runs out end of August.
