Description
These stair spindles were removed from a late 1800's/ early 1900's stone-built house near Edinburgh. 45mm x 45mm spindles, made from beautiful solid oak. They still have their original varnish finish. I have a total of 108 spindles. (Fifty three spindles 103cm long, with square ends, and fifty five spindles 76cm long, with angled ends.) These spindles are in good condition, consistent with age. The 4th and 5th pictures show what they look like after being taken back to bare wood, sanded, and refinished with clear satin lacquer. Bought several years ago and stored in a dry garage since. Local delivery possible. Price: £100 for all. Buyer collects
