Workshop Coordinator

Are you a skilled and motivated Workshop Controller looking for a new challenge in a unique and dynamic environment? Join our team at Brize Norton and play a key role in supporting the UK's largest RAF base.

Location: Brize Norton

Nationality Requirement: British Nationals only

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Contract Duration: Until 15 March 2026 (with potential for extension)

Working Pattern: 35 hours per week, across 4.5 days

Rate:

£33.00 per hour (Umbrella)

£24.66 per hour (PAYE)

About the Role:

As Workshop Controller, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy equipment maintenance workshop. You'll ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, supporting both military and civilian fleet requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate workshop activities, ensuring optimal productivity and workflow.

Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill and availability.

Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion.

Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance.

Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers.

Support and mentor workshop staff, fostering a positive team environment.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a workshop controller or supervisory role.

Strong technical knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Experience working in a military/aerospace environment is desirable but not essential.Security Requirements:
