Area Relief Officer

We are currently recruiting a full-time permanent Area Relief Officer to work across a collection of sites in Stockton, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Darlington

This exciting opportunity will allow you to work across a range of varied locations, with a high standard of security needing to be met at all times. If you are in the security industry or are looking for a career change, then this would be the perfect for you! We will offer on-site training, as well as career development too.

This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week covering days, nights and weekends.

Your Time at Work

As an Area Relief Officer, a typical week will involve ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. Other elements of the role will include:

- Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

- Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site

- Gatehouse duties - access and egress control

- Patrolling of the premises - both inside and outside

- Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms

Our Perfect Worker

If you are aged 18 or over and are a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times, then this could be the career for you!

A good understanding of IT is required and as mentioned before, whilst it would be a benefit to have some previous security experience together with your SIA license, it's not essential.

We provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) license training to help you on your way to a career in security. Previous experience in security is not a must, but if you're already working in the industry, or have before, we welcome you to join our team. We know you'll get off to a flying start!

Please note, this role does require a Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle.
