Full Frame Image Sensor
An Exmor R CMOS sensor captures 24.2 megapixels of stunning detail. A back-illuminated structure enhances light collection efficiency and minimises noise to reveal the finest detail in every shot. Powered by Sony's super-rapid BIONZ X processor data, readout speed is double that of the Alpha 7 II. And with wide ISO range of 100-51200 shoot in low level light with no drop in quality.

High Performing Autofocus
Sony's 4D Focus system incorporates an innovative image sensor to capture movement in crisper detail. 693 phase detection AF points cover 93% of the frame. The Alpha 7 III locks focus on fast-moving action like sport or wildlife with tenacious accuracy.
