Description
vintage Ensign Selfix 12-20 medium format folding camera, equipped with a Ross Xpres 75mm f/3.5 lens. A British-made camera from the 1950s, ideal for collectors or classic film photography enthusiasts.
✅ Condition Overview:
• All mechanical functions appear to be in working order:
• Shutter fires smoothly.
• Aperture blades open and close properly.
• The camera opens and closes without any issue.
• The bellows are light-tight with no visible holes or cracks.
• The viewfinder is clear and usable.
• The body is in good cosmetic condition for its age.
🔍 Lens Condition:
• The Ross Xpres 75mm f/3.5 lens is clean externally.
• There is a very light internal haze, typical for lenses of this age.
• No fungus, deep scratches, or separation observed.
• The haze may not affect image quality significantly, but please be aware of it.
⚠️ Important Notes:
• This camera has not been tested with film, as I do not have a roll of 120 film available.
• All statements are based on visual inspection and mechanical checks only.
• Therefore, it is being sold strictly AS-IS, with no returns accepted.
Please check all the photos carefully — they are part of the item description.
