Musicians Wanted - New Band - Blues, Rock n Roll, Soul…

Hi there,

I am looking for bandmates to form a new band.

All musicians welcome; drummer, bass, keys, guitar, harmonica… I have a vocalist on board at this point.

I am a guitar player with influences ranging from Hendrix, JJ Cale and the blues greats, through to George Harrison, and although my style of play is heavily influenced with the blues, I can mix it up from upbeat high tempo stuff, to a soulful ballad approach. So it’s a blues, rock n roll, soul type of sound I am looking for.

I have been jamming with various people for the last couple of years now and I am keen to create a group of like minded people, who can take the music we love and put our own creative spin on things. Hopefully in time we gel and can play about with original material, but realistically, covers is the obvious place to start. I’m thinking Cocaine, Black Magic Woman, After Midnight, just to name a few, build things from a few songs up.

The practice sessions will take place at the Substation in Rosyth, which is nice and central and a great facility for creativity.

For context I am 45yrs old.
