The Lith-Tech Carbon Edition is an amazing piece of equipment. Half the weight of most traditional folding electric wheelchairs, so really can be lifted in and out of a car easily for transport, or used on a cruise ship, aeroplane or public transport, taking up very little space. When folded it's incredibly compact, but is strong, durable and solid, unlike any other.
Lith-Tech have grown to become one of the most successful UK based suppliers of powered wheelchairs. Beware of cheap, inferior imitations - Lith-Tech is a brand you can trust and rely upon. Check them out online, you'll see what a reputable company they are, and the quality of their products.
If you have been researching carbon fibre wheelchairs, you'll already know they are VERY expensive to buy new, as with carbon fibre bike frames, as they are very complex and expensive to design and produce.
The frame is made of carbon fibre, and is a work of art to look at, with all the benefits of this incredibly strong yet lightweight composite. If Formula 1 made wheelchairs, this would be it!
Despite the sleek appearance and ultra lightweight design, this scooter is very stable and sturdy and can carry people up to 25 stone (160kg) and fits people of all sizes including those well over 6' tall. Pretty amazing design that can carry almost 10 times its own weight. And that's probably why they are so expensive new...
The power is via twin rear wheel motors, with joystick control and adjustable speed settings for ease of use. Automatic electronic braking brings you to a halt whenever you release the joystick, and it is incredibly easy to drive with simple fingertip control. The joystick position can be adjusted forwards or backwards, and can be swapped for left or right handed users.
The airline compliant lithium batteries fit under the seat, can be removed easily for charging on or off the chair, and hold charge for weeks or months, giving you up to 9 miles on a single battery and up to 18 miles for both batteries - the longest range of any carbon power chair.
To fold, you simply pull upwards on the rear locking bar and the chair folds flat. No complex mechanisms, or heavy power folding, it is the simplest and easiest of designs.
This wheelchair was bought with the intention of being used for foreign travel but hasn't been used all that much It has been used a handful of times for outings, but is in immaculate condition and has barely been used. A few light marks and wear and tear from transport and storage, but otherwise very good.
Despite not being used much, the batteries were charged at least once or twice a month to ensure it remained in peak condition.
Comes with two battery packs, charger, of board charging adapter and adjustment tools
You're welcome to come to view and collect it, or I can deliver for free within a 50 mile radius of Brockenhurst (New Forest) so Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Portsmouth, Salisbury etc. and surrounding areas.
Regrettably due to the value of this chair, I will not post or send via courier.

"You probably have never seen a wheelchair made from carbon fibre before, that is because LITH-TECH is the first company to introduce a carbon folding electric wheelchair into the UK market and in turn this makes this chair the WORLD’S LIGHTEST everyday electric folding wheelchair ever created.
There are many benefits of making such a product out of carbon fibre and this material has been used to make many other products who’s purpose is to be strong and light – such as bicycles, cars, helmets, golf clubs… and so on… therefore why not wheelchairs too! It gives a brand-new modern look to a wheelchair that has never been seen before with its distinctive carbon fibre “pattern” and colour, making the design sleek and attractive to all users.
The main purpose for using carbon fibre however, is because of its 2 key properties – it is both LIGHTWEIGHT and STRONG. With this in mind, the LITH-TECH CARBON EDITION is the lightest folding electric wheelchair in the world, weighing only 17kg without batteries and only 19.5kg with batteries, but can withstand a user weight of up to 25 stone (160kg)!
Keeping in line with the rest of LITH-TECH’s range, the LITH-TECH CARBON EDITION is highly practical and easy to use every day in all conditions. It can manage different terrains and can easily go over potholes or up / down curbs. It folds up small (610mm x 380mm x 750mm) in less than 2 seconds and can be put into a boot of even quite small cars.
We are obsessed with this wheelchair. Something that is normally thought of as a big, bulky, unattractive item has been reinvented with the LITH-TECH CARBON EDITION design being modern, light, and inclusive of the practical qualities that all the other LITH-TECH folding electric wheelchairs have. This is a revolution for wheelchairs and breaks all the rules which will no doubt change the perception of the everyday wheelchair along with improving many peoples lives in the future."
This is arguably one of the best carbon fibre powered wheelchairs money can buy, and they don't come up for sale very often.
