Description
This is a Quickie Xenon Wheelchair. It has folding handles, an adjustable back (you adjust the tension using the velcro shown), an underseat pocket for tools or valuables, an ergonomic back cushion and a Jay basic cushion included.
The frame is plum purple and folds for easy storage/transport. This wheelchair is very lightweight and comes with brand new, solid wheels (no need to worry about punctures). The carbon fibre footplate is also adjustable and the brakes have been replaced recently.
The dimensions are:
• Seat: 17.5 inches deep x 17 inches wide
• Foot plate to top of cushion: currently 18.5 inches (adjustable)
• Backrest: 12.5inches high
• Wheels 54cm
• Folded frame 6.5inch wide (including wheels it's 13 inches)
Retails between £1500 and £2000 new. You are welcome to come and view the chair to test the fit and I will help you get it set up/adjusted if you decide to purchase.
Please note: this wheelchair is great to use and structurally sound, but one of the forks on the front castor wheels is difficult to change. A Quickie wheelchair dealer should be able to help you with this if you ever need to replace it, but this doesn't affect the function at all. Spare parts can be purchased from Quickie through any registered dealer if they are ever needed. You will need to purchase anti-tips which can be bought generically online or from any wheelchair dealer (don't need to be Quickie brand). If you would prefer, I can install these for you when you collect the chair. There are also a few scratches on the frame from normal wear and tear, as pictured.
