The Neon's anodised aluminium frame is much lighter than a regular steel frame. The heaviest part weighs under 10kg, so it's easier to get the bits into the boot. And those impressive weight specs don't come at the cost of comfort. Full suspension stops shakes and rattles from travelling through your body, with extra padding in the seat and adjustable armrests for no-trouble transfers on and off your scooter.

If you want to go lighter without losing style, performance or comfort, you'll love the Neon. It houses a lithium-ion battery for long-lasting performance and quicker charging times. Smaller and lighter than regular batteries, li-ion batteries cope well with everyday use thanks to a longer life-cycle. The battery can be removed from the scooter for off-board charging, ideal for storage in your car, outdoors or in a garage or shed.

Plastics - Good - Only a few minor signs of use, and a few light marks from transporting (they all suffer from this) but no cracks or damage

It has been regularly charged when not in use, in line with the manufacturer's guidance, and the battery is tested at 29.51v indicating 100% health.The batteries charge at 29.4v, so ideally should hold the same voltage. If they indicate 28v or below they are considered old and/or weaker, but this one holds charge at 29.51v which is as good as when it was new.

This particular scooter has a fixed seat base, instead of a swivel base.
So it is more stable without any wobble, however it does not rotate. Access onto the scooter is easy enough though, as the arm rests flip up and out of the way.
