Westminster Chime Bracket Clock. Working. Key Included.
Launceston, Cornwall

Description
This is a beautiful little bracket clock from H.Samuel retailers.
I don't know the full history of the clock but it is fitted with a high quality Seth Thomas Westminster Chime movement. I believe these were made by Hermle in Germany.
The clock also has a lunar dial which is working and changes by one click at about 1AM each day, the dial can be advanced clockwise if it is ever out of synchronisation due to the clock stopping from not being wound.
There is a key included.
There is a silent/chime lever inside the back of the clock on the right hand side. push down to silence the chimes and up to restart them, they auto correct if they are out of sequence.
When I got the clock it was missing the chime bars, I have no idea why, but I had a spare set that didn't need much work to fit apart from drilling an extra hole for them to line up with the movement, see last picture.
The movement has had a light clean and a drop of fresh clock oil and has been running very well with good amplitude on the escapement and keeping good time.
The mahogany case is in very good condition showing just a few minor marks and has been cleaned and polished.
It stands about 12" tall x 9" wide x 6" deep.
