Mini One 1.6 Hatchback – In Rare Solid Gold Metallic Paint
Extremely well looked after by ex-mechanic
Daily Driver even now today, runs and drives lovely, but the Gearbox has started to whine so it will need reconditioning or changing in the near future, hence the price.
No other faults – a few stone chips and marks & one small dent (pictured) in the drivers side wing and the drivers seat bolster is fraying but otherwise it’s in great condition for 21 Years old.
Driven 128,000 miles - MOT until October but I bet it would pass today if taken.
Timing Chain Changed at 100K
Engine is sweet no faults – Worth buying this car just if you need an Engine or other donor parts or have a drive space for a project car, then you could easily make money on this.

NO OFFERS…..If this doesn't sell I will break it for parts as the Engine, power steering pump, rear lights & alternator would fetch well over the asking price alone on the second hand market, being a Mini fan I just don’t want to break up a perfectly good car as these early R50 original Mini’s are getting rarer, but I have reached my limit spending money on this car and have nowhere to work on it myself anymore, you can find a second hand gearbox for sale around £150 and then you just need labour to fit it, being an Ex-mechanic I could easily fit a new gearbox on this, but as I am not in the trade anymore and do not have a drive or space to do the job and I am not paying somebody else to do it.
