Description
This is a Mini Cooper R56 2011 Base Model in Black.
1.6L petrol engine 120bhp.
Fairly nippy
Would be a great little nippy first car
It has very good service history and lots of paperwork with the car. Before my purchase in Feb 2024, the car had lots of work done to it such as a new clutch and maintenance work worth around £1800. Timing chain was replaced summer last year at around 108,000 miles. The car is mechanically working good and has never caused me any issues in my ownership.
Shock absorbers replaced for last MOT and 2 New front tyres.
MOT due May 2026. Last serviced May 2025 (by myself).
Couple of notes:
- Few age related marks (couple scratches and dents, but car is 14 years old so expected.
- Engine light is on. Weird one this, when I purchased it and drove home the next day this came on. Had it taken to the mechanic and they had a look and they said they couldn’t find what was causing it throw up the EML code. Hasn’t caused me an issue and I have driven it for around 20,000 miles in my ownership. Never had to take it to the garage for any major issues.
