Mercedes Vito 109, 2009, New MOT, Maxus Roof Rack

Reluctantly I am selling my 2009 109 CDI Vito. It's the long version as opposed to the compact or extra-long. I have owned it for 3 years during which time I have driven it from Aberdeen to the middle of France and back 11 times. It has never let me down, it runs smoothly, doesn't use too much fuel and will come with a brand new MOT and front suspension. I have replaced it with an identical lhd model from the same year.

The good bits:
1. New front suspension arms, rear coil and other work completed this week ready for MOT retest this week. New Mercedes sensors fitted - No warning lights. The vehicle will come with MOT valid until August 10th 2026.
2. Both front upper anti-roll bar links replaced for last MOT.
3. Brand new windscreen fitted last year.
4. Recently serviced (oil and oil/air/pollen filters replaced).
5. Front brake discs, pads and calipers replaced last year.
6. Rear brake discs and pads replaced last year.
7. Brand new battery fitted in September.
8. Twin sliding doors and twin rear doors.
9. Front shocks and springs replaced prior to my ownership (undocumented).
10. Bluetooth / USB / SD Card Stereo.
11. 2 keys.
12. 4 good tyres (front ones replaced last week) and a spare.
13. Comes with MAXUS heavy duty full length roof rack.
14. All internal anchor points are in good condition – long enough for 2 pallets.
15. The original Mercedes jack and toolkit are present.
16. The van has been stored undercover for most of the last 3 years.
17. The airbag was replaced last year by Mercedes as part of a recall.

The bad bits:
1. The inner nearside rear sill was welded and sealed for the last MOT. Additional welding is has been done this week to restore structural integrity. Before and after photos will be provided. It’s a shame Mercedes don’t galvanise the underside of these workhorse vehicles.
2. Like all Vitos, the driver’s seat has started to fray. There is a historic indentation on the rear left wheel arch.
3. Surface rust is starting to show under the driver’s door – it has never been treated or painted.
4. The electric window on the passenger side does not operate. The driver’s side works perfectly.
