For sale is a genuine Mercedes Benz R107 500 SL. With 30 service stamps and 14 mot certificates. This car is one of the later models with the much needed Galvanised body shell (so absolutely no rust in the shell ) , aluminium Bonnet and Boot .Also much improved suspension and handling over the earlier models and with the 4G electronic gearbox . This car was ordered new by Miss Silver, from Road Range in Liver pool and came with the following extras. Cream Leather seats which are heated , Rear child seats, Fire extinguisher , Outside temperature gauge and Blapunkt Radio. Standard equipment on this car is ABS, Headlamp washers and wipers, cruise control, Illuminated vanity mirrors, central locking, front fog lamps 15 hole alloy wheels.
This car has an impeccable service history not only with the majority of service being carried out by a Mercedes Benz dealer I also have from 1989 to 1999 a copy of every service / repair bill . I have all the original service books , handbook is in the original plastic wallet, radio booklet and comes with a full tool role and first aid kit .
When I bought the car it had been in a private collection for 15 years and had only covered 7,000miles in that time. I have had the car completely re commissioned as follows . new MOT , all the fluids changed ,replaced all the brake discs , pads and sensors along with the steering damper . The carpets were professionally replaced and the leather seats re connolised . The car looks and drives so well, this is a reluctant sale but I have another project coming so I am going to let this one go.
