Vehicle History: My Stunning Mercedes SLK. Purchased new from Mercedes Benz, GreenOak’s of Reading. The original lady owner drove the car infrequently, covering just over 41,000 miles in her 21 years of ownership. Despite the very low mileage There is 11 stamps recorded in the service schedule. A stamp for every 3,732 miles driven. In 2024 she passed ownership to an elderly gentleman from Aylesbury. Sadly, having covered just a few hundred miles he came to realise that getting in and out the car was too difficult. I was fortunate to be offered the Mercedes.

A General and Honest Description of this Mercedes SLK 230

On the Road: The car starts on the first turn of the key and drives as it should. The six speed manual gearbox engages gears with ease. The clutch is light and works perfectly. The engine is smooth, quiet, and powerful. The steering is tight and positive and the suspension ride is excellent. The brakes are in excellent working order. All the electrics are working perfectly. My Mercedes SLK drives as a well-maintained car should. Everything works as the Manufacturer intended.
I have recently covered over 200 miles. The car was a delight to drive and performed perfectly.

Interior: The luxury light coloured roof lining material is perfect. The Anthracite leather seats show little signs of being used including the seat bolsters. The dash, doors and centre console materials are all in perfect condition. The floor carpets are like new, having been protected by fitted over mats. The over mats are Mercedes Branded. The interior is extremely comfortable. A nice place to be.

Wheels and Tyres: All four alloy wheel rims are perfect. They have a deep shine and there is no kerbing at all. All four tyres are matching and a quality brand. (Pirelli Cinturato P7) The rear tyres are in excellent condition with a good tread depth. The front tyres were more recently replaced and have excellent tread depth. Front Tyre Size: 205 55 R16, Rear Tyre Size: 225 50 R16.

Body Work and General Condition: As is common with any car that has been used there will be a certain amount of wear and tear. This Mercedes SLK has suffered very little. Except for a couple of very small blemishes the car is in stunning condition. All the body panels are exact and still have a factory shine. Original and rust free. The underside of the car is immaculately clean and completely rust free. The car exterior is quite special.

Boot Compartment: Immaculate and dry. The boot carpet is like new and looks unused. All the surrounding trims are perfect. The space saver wheel is present as well as the Safety Triangle and first aid kit. The jack, brace and locking wheel nut is complete. The boot compartment is large and illuminated.

Electric Roof: The Vario-electric roof works perfectly, taking approximately 25 seconds to open or close. The original wind deflector is still there for when the roof is down. The roof is completely water tight.

This is an honest and extremely well-loved Mercedes car. It has seen little use and has been garaged for almost 22 years. All mechanics and electrics are in perfect working order. The interior and exterior trim is quite special. A Recent MOT has been completed. Ready for the new owner to drive away with the confidence that the car is in perfect running order.
