PLEASE NOTE, I AM NOW BASED IN GOSPORT, HAMPSHIRE. GUMTREE DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO CHANGE THE GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION ON EXISTING ADS, SO THE DEFAULT LOCATION WILL REMAIN AS STEVENAGE, WHICH IS NO LONGER THE CASE. ANY COLLECTIONS WILL NOW BE FROM GOSPORT. OBVIOUSLY THIS HAS NO EFFECT ON POSTAL ORDERS.
Nivada watch made for Winegartens, London. The Taravana is so named, as it is a divers watch. The term taravana is a Polynesian word used to describe the form of decompression sickness suffered by the free divers of the region. The symptoms of taravana are nausea, vertigo, lethargy, paralysis and death.
The watch is new old stock, unworn and dating from the 1970s.
There is still the protective film on some of the polished areas of the case and back.
Stainless steel case and back with plexi lens. Green dial with date at 3. Screw-down crown. waterproof to 20 atm - not tested.
42mm lug to lug with 38mm diameter. Eta 2472 movement
