This 2 core intel Celeron at 2.9GHz provides enough compute to keep things simple. At the time of using it provided very reliable speed to let me use my computer for what i needed at the time, web browsing and document writing. It was originaly purchased brand new and for the price and just needing a computer to work to do basic things for me this was grate value for money.

If you just use your computer for basic tasks then it will defiantly serve that purpose, if you need a replacement for your existing system or just want to build a cheap system for the fun of it then you can definitely do that with this CPU. May be your a Linux user and find yourself buried in the terminal all day then it will do you proud.
