This raid controller was dismantled from a working system and provides functionality for setting up your drives using the raid configuration technology. It was previously used in a system with 6 SATA HDD's for cloning the data of one set of drives to another. As this controller card is a legacy piece of hardware it is uses an original PCI interface.
It can definitely do what you need it to do for older systems
and help ensure the integrity of your data is backed up sufficiently.
