SEO Copywriter

Location: Hybrid / Kemble, Gloucestershire

Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Role Overview:

We are working with a highly successful and fast-growing organisation in the digital space to find an exceptional SEO Copywriter to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a content specialist with strong SEO copywriting skills and a passion for driving organic growth. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, conversion-focused content across all digital channels, directly impacting brand promotion, website traffic, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the brand's organic content strategy, with duties including:

* Content Optimisation: Optimising all web content, including new copy, meta tags, headers, and titles, to significantly improve search visibility and user experience.

* Blog Management: Optimising and creating engaging blog content specifically designed to boost keyword targeting and search engine positioning.

* Strategic Copywriting: Creating consistent, high-quality, keyword-targeted content for both on-site and off-site use. This includes engaging copy for the website, email marketing, and digital advertisements.

* Compliance: Ensuring all written content strictly adheres to the established brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Required Skills & Experience:

Our client is looking for a creative, commercially minded individual who is eager to contribute innovative ideas to their overall marketing objectives.

Essential Technical Requirements:

* 3–5 years' proven copywriting experience, ideally focused on a digital-first environment.

* Solid practical experience using GA4 (Google Analytics 4) and Search Console.

* Proficiency with key SEO tools such as SEMrush or Screaming Frog.

* Good working knowledge of SEO best practices and algorithm updates.

* Experience using common Content Management Systems (CMS), specifically WordPress.
