Mk1 mx5 eunos roadster

12 months MOT

156,000 KM I think this is roughly 100,000 miles? Mileage will increase as it's my daily

I have decided it's finally time to part with my mx5. I have owned this car for 4 years now but I now need to move on to something a bit bigger. 😅

It had new brakes all round using a full sports brake kit from MX5 Parts (vented, dilled and grooved discs with EBC pads all round) fitted in September 2024, all still ok.

I had 2 new rear calipers fitted plus the front wheel bearing was replaced last August.

The car has recently had an oil and filter change + 2 x new nankang tyres on the front and the steering rack gaiter replaced.

The previous owner did have some welding done in 2015 which I still have all the paperwork for, I can send over if needed, the OSF sil may need doing in the next couple of years. I did have a patch welded in the drivers foot well which I can send over images of the patch that has been done if needed. I haven't been under the car since so unfortunately haven't got any up to date images of this.

The car has an aftermarket immobilizer fitted by sterling, I still have the paperwork for this too.

have had the head gasket replaced , vales lapped along with new valve stem seals in 2023 with the full timing kit done at the same time.

Mk2 heater matrix was installed at the same time due to the old one leaking

Modifications

- rear firefly over fenders (rear arches have been cut out and welded up)

- custom painted rocker cover (purple flake)

- custom painted hard top (black with holographic flake

- aftermarket gear stick
- aftermarket Bluetooth stereo (doesn't really fit in the centre console but it does the job!)

Bad bits
- body work isn't amazing - lacquer peel on the NSF wing - some small dents in the bonnet and the passenger side door has some rust and filler under the paint, the previous owner advised a forklift had driven into the car. I have a spare bonnet and spare door that can come with the car, both will need painting silver.
rear quarters have been cut out for the over fenders, I do have some replacement rear arches that can come with the car for you to weld on if you want them.
- oil leak (the usual), not sure where abouts this is coming from as I haven't had it looked in to, probably topping up a liter every 6 months.

Will consider swapping for an old boxy Volvo but I'm open to offers ☺️

The car no longer has halo headlights they are back to OEM bulbs.

The car has AC however the last owner took the pump out for some reason 🤣 so I can't tell you if it will work or not if you fit one.
