Hi there,

Just wanted to be upfront and provide full transparency before arranging anything further.

I previously had someone come to collect the mattress, but they declined due to what they claimed was a stain. Personally, I can’t see anything obvious, and if there is something minor, I genuinely have no idea what it could be. The mattress was always used with a topper and was cleaned thoroughly with my Vax spot-wash machine before being sealed in a plastic mattress cover and taped shut.

It’s been in storage for a while, as I initially intended to reuse it, but due to some changes in my home, I no longer need it, hence the listing.

Unfortunately, I’ve had several no shows after going to the trouble of bringing it out of storage and through my house, only to have no one turn up. So while the plastic cover may not look brand new anymore, that’s purely cosmetic, it’s just the outer wrapping. The mattress itself has remained sealed and untouched.

If there are any marks, I’m confident they’ll wipe off easily. I can assure you it’s nothing unpleasant, definitely not anything like bodily fluids. I’m not planning to remove the plastic again to check, as I feel it would be unnecessary.

I hope this gives a clear and honest picture. I just want to avoid any more wasted trips, so if you’re genuinely interested, I’d be happy to arrange a time for collection.

I’ve reduced the price from £40 to £30, as I’m keen to have it collected as soon as possible. It’s a high-quality mattress that was quite expensive originally, so it’s well worth the current asking price
