Highly qualified & experienced teacher of Secondary Science & Maths (25 years service) enthusiastically delivering tuition from Key Stage 3 through to both GCSE, IGCSE & A Level across all major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel & OCR). Past Maths/Numeracy Departmental Lead Practitioner in a college of further education.
A professional approach is adopted to deliver a clear, structured and organised style of teaching. Carefully prepared learning resources, with worked examples, are also used to practice and recycle the learner's growing knowledge and skills. Moreover, recent past examination topic questions are given to the learner, toward the end of a learning session, to facilitate the assessment of learning progress.
Therefore, an overall focus on developing learner confidence level, paticularly when working on more challenging topics, is essential, and offered throughout the tuition process. Ultimately, the aims are to improve subject grades, and so further enhance exam preparation.
