Job Title: Marketing Specialist

Start date: Immediate or our client can wait if you need to give 1 months notice

Location: New Romney, your own transport is essential due to the location of this position

Office based: Free on-site parking for your convenience

Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Annual leave: 25 days + Bank holidays

The team: Collaborative, supportive, and creative

Your key responsibilities within this role would be:

Retail Website Marketing & Asset Creation:

Plan and execute promotional campaigns and product launches for the website.

Collaborate with the team to create digital assets (banners, product images, landing pages) aligned with brand guidelines.

Optimise product pages for conversion (CRO), including copy, imagery, and layout.

Social Media Management:

Develop and manage content calendars for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).

Create engaging posts, stories, and reels to promote products, offers, and brand storytelling.

Monitor performance metrics, respond to comments/messages, and grow community engagement.

Google PPC & Paid Ads:

Create, manage, and optimise Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping) campaigns.

Analyse performance data to improve ROI and drive qualified traffic to the website.

Test ad creatives and landing pages for continuous improvement.

SEO & Organic Growth

Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO strategies to improve search visibility.

Work with content creators to develop blogs and product descriptions optimised for SEO.

Monitor SEO performance and recommend improvements using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.

You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have the following:

Experience in digital marketing, preferably in eCommerce or retail.

Proficiency in tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, Shopify (or similar CMS).

Strong understanding of SEO best practices and PPC strategy.

Excellent written and visual communication skills.

Ability to multitask and manage projects with a detail-oriented mindset.

Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp).

Basic HTML/CSS or web editing experience.

Video editing skills for short-form content (Reels, TikToks).
