Preston

Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm

£28,000 – £32,000 basic (DOE) + company benefits

UK Staffing Group is recruiting a UK Marketing Executive on behalf of a leading freight and logistics group based in Preston. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll play a key role in delivering digital and traditional marketing campaigns across multiple brands within the transport and logistics sector.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a UK Marketing Executive, you will:

* Support the delivery of multi-channel marketing strategies across several brands

* Conduct market research, identifying industry trends and customer needs

* Create and send customer email campaigns (mailshots)

* Write and design engaging content for blogs, websites, and social media platforms

* Manage and schedule content calendars in collaboration with the Head of Marketing

* Contribute to design briefs for digital, print, video, and website content

* Create customer surveys for research and brand engagement

* Analyse campaign performance using Google Analytics and other tools, reporting results in line with marketing strategy

* Identify and test new social media channels and campaign opportunities

* Stay up to date with logistics and freight industry news, liaising with internal stakeholders to generate content ideas

The Successful UK Marketing Executive

The ideal candidate will bring:

* 3–5 years’ B2B marketing experience (essential, logistics/travel background desirable)

* Marketing or creative qualification (degree or equivalent)

* Strong skills in email marketing, design, and social media management tools

* Experience with Google Analytics (intermediate or above)

* Experience with content management systems (Drupal or similar)

* Proven ability to create compelling copy, design content, and manage campaigns end-to-end

* Knowledge of SEO best practices (Google EEAT guidelines)

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively

* A proactive, independent, and innovative approach, combined with collaboration skills
