Location: Wymondham

Pay Rate: GBP12.50 GBP13.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (40 hours per week)

Contract Type: Full–Time, Temp to Perm

Gap Personnel is recruiting for a Yard Picking Operative to join a busy and supportive team within a well–established manufacturing site. If you enjoy practical work, are forklift trained, and thrive in an outdoor environment this could be the role for you!

Key Duties: Sorting and picking aluminium profiles from customer skips.

Organising materials into stillages and designated yard areas.

Operating a forklift to transport materials across the site.

Assisting with booking in goods and completing basic paperwork.

Loading and unloading lorries (primarily using forklift).

Supporting with pre–treatment line loading and general factory duties.

Performing safe and accurate product runs across departments.

What We're Looking For: Previous yard, warehouse, or factory experience preferred.

Forklift licence is essential (valid counterbalance or reach).

Reliable, organised, and proactive attitude.

Good communication and problem–solving skills.

Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Working Hours: Standard: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

Overtime & Weekend Shifts: Available as required

Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: GBP12.21 GBP13.50 (depending on experience)
