Warehouse and Stores Operative

Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire

Hours: 37.5 hours, 8:30am – 4:30pm or 9am – 5pm

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Duration: Permanent

Benefits: 28 days holiday + bank holidays, private healthcare (after completion of probation period), 6% pension employer contribution, annual bonus scheme, parking onsite

This role brings an exciting opportunity to join a small team within the Warehouse and Stores department where you will play a crucial role, due to the nature of the business. You will have the flexibility to make this role your own, ensuring all orders are picked and packed with attention and care, loading and unloading goods and supporting the engineering team with gathering and delivering parts. You will also be operating a forklift; however, experience is not essential as they will provide training.

Job Duties:

* Using the internal system to print daily orders

* Picking and packing products from across the warehouse

* Preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring they have been labelled and correct packaged

* Unloading and loading goods into the warehouse

* Use of a forklift

* Collecting parts for the engineering team

* Assisting with the stock take across the warehouse and stores

* Work within a small team to ensure a smooth operation across both the warehouse and stores department

What we are looking for:

* A willingness to work well during busy periods

* A positive and motivated attitude

* Previous warehouse and stores experience

* Ideally forklift driving experience but not essential

* A keen eye for detail and able to work with care
