Job Title: Transport Coordinator

Location: Saltly

Salary: £28,000 per annum (£13.46 per hour)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm

Role Overview We are seeking an organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to join our team. You will play a key role in managing daily transport operations, supporting both internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the highest level of service is delivered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the collection and delivery functions for approximately 27 trucks.

Respond promptly to incoming client and partner queries via telephone, email, and Nexus messaging to prevent escalation.

Liaise effectively with internal teams, including warehouse, customer service, and drivers.

Monitor driver performance and ensure systems are updated with accurate, timely information.

Complete daily reports and general administrative tasks to support the wider transport team.

Resolve issues quickly and efficiently, maintaining client satisfaction.

Carry out any other transport-related duties as required.Role Requirements

Previous experience in a transport coordination role.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to see processes through to completion.

Ability to adapt and respond effectively in a dynamic environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong IT skills, with experience using transport management systems.Benefits
